Modern eclectic
Watchung NJ

Modern and Classic in beautiful harmony! Client expressed the desire to have an eclectic vibe in their home, where they could proudly entertain their guests and family in an elegant, yet comfortable way. They wanted to Address their cultural heritage. Their love for extensive travel had made them collect pieces from all over the world, and those treasures they wanted to incorporate in their space as well.  Our approach was to layer traditional pieces collected over time and mix them with some modern pieces to make the design aesthetic more relevant……. Everything we selected had a sophisticated feel, yet comfortable and relaxed. A large sectional paired with two accent tub chairs with a very interesting metal back making a statement in the room, an oversized wood coffee table, ottomans flanking the fireplace in the most understated dramatic fabric in an embroidered chinoiserie bold pattern, carefully selected artwork adding a pop of color and lending the vibe that the clients enjoy every day. In an open floor plan enfilade layout where every room opened into the next, making it a perfect space to entertain and make beautiful memories.

They wanted us to create a formal entraining space with a feminine vibe.
With a combination of warm, classic materials like velvets and herringbones, we played with   colors like light and charcoal Greys, popped the room with accent colors like pinks and deep blues, oversized artwork, varied shapes in furniture selectins giving a beautiful contemporary look.
We selected different wood tones and added different metal finishes to complete the look.

Farmhouse Livable Modern
Shorthills Project

This young urban family wanted to have a very carefree and relaxed look in an open floor plan which had a farmhouse and rustic appeal to it while retaining a modern aesthetic.
So, we went to work to create a farmhouse style aesthetic with a contemporary look to give a timeless spin to the space.
The oversized wrought iron chandelier hanging over a distressed thick top trestle table, paired with two head chairs in an exaggerated geometrical pattern, gave a bohemian sensibility yet rustic in its appeal. The two large comfy leather reclining sofas, optimal for family TV watching, the swivel chair in a bold large plaid, with an oversized ottoman in a colorful floral pattern is super approachable and laid back.
The artwork adding the alluring element that the rustic pieces are missing.
The clients love it!

This stunning foyer captures a perfect balance of opolence and elegance. A perfect first impression setting a tone for the rest of the space. The details on the statement table are so unexpected with white burl oak, brass ball metal details, the oversized dramatic gold mirror balanced with an airy fuscia floral and a glass lamp. Not a ordinary foyer is it?

A transitional Living room
Summit Project

The client had a traditional sensibility.  Yet they wanted a transitional feel to the space, while incorporating a rich color palette and bold patterns. We took the approach of combining traditional forms and modern sensibility without falling into a Cliché! We selected a Sarouk rug with a rich teal and gold pattern. Added neutral upholstery pieces with an accent chair with a very bold pattern, plaid ottomans nested under a console which would offer additional seating when required, a coffee table with an island feel, bold artwork in a large floral motif dominating the room.

Kitchen Elegance
Bay area home

The layout of this Bay area home felt cramped, compartmentalized and choppy. This project began with removing a load bearing wall, creating a seamless transition between previously separated small rooms.
This open layout enhances the overall sense of spaciousness and an abundance of light.
The kitchen now is the heart of the open floor plan which was redesigned with functionality and style in mind. Sleek modern Cabinetry, stunning lighting, an oversized Center Island with seating and storage, create a focal point for both home cooking and socializing, making family meals and gatherings a delight!

A relaxing retreat
Millburn Project

In An open floor plan a room overlooking the Family room was originally a dining room that we converted into a conversation area, where they would entertain their guests, play board games with family, serve drinks and appetizers, and make some fun memories!!
Grouping together comfortable swivel chairs around a large round coffee table in a stunning finish and interesting shape. Adding a stunning cabinet with a beautiful piece of art to give the room a focal point. Accented the large window with Straight simple fabric panels in a diamond pattern with short rods to warm up the room.
Both the rooms flowed into each other, making it easy for entertaining a large gathering, yet separate in their own way.
The rustic fireplace, which has a big presence angled in the room, was modernized with a polished, dimensional mirror with modern black sconces flanking it to add a layer of juxtapose!
